Today I saw an article on cbc.ca that said Saskatchewan will eventually be getting a new area code, 474.  According to the article, all possible permutations of 306-xxx-xxxx will run out by 2013, because there are so many new cell numbers popping up since everyone over the age of 7 now has a personal cell phone (the article didn't include that statistic but that's my estimation... for the record my future kids aren't having cell phones unless they can pay for them).

Anyway, a relatively unexciting bit of news however the story spawned a pretty opinionated comment:

Ohhhhh Saskatchewan people.  Change is terrifying.
